Meet Dr. Michael Pannozzo
Dr. Michael Pannozzo grew up in Waterloo, Ontario but fell in love with Nova Scotia when he spent his summers here with his family. He went on to graduate from Dalhousie University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008. Following his dental degree, Michael continued his education by completing a General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta Hospital. This year long hospital internship provided him with extensive training in dental extractions, other complex dental surgeries and sedation dentistry. After completing this program, Michael returned to Nova Scotia to begin his dental career at Community Dental Center.
Dr. Pannozzo enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special interest in extractions and sedation dentistry. He is one of only a handful of dentists in the province trained in intravenous conscious sedation and has made it a priority to help increase access to sedation to those who find dental visits challenging.
He strives to deliver an exceptional experience by providing the highest quality dentistry in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Michael and his wife juggle their spare time between cheering on their two kids at hockey games and tennis matches across the Atlantic provinces. When he’s not in the stands, he’s planning the next family adventure, discovering new places, or simply kicking back and getting some rest and relaxation.
